ArtsLink > ArtsLink International Fellowships 2021 Open Call
CEC ArtsLink invites artists, arts leaders and curators from all arts disciplines from 37 eligible countries to apply for the ArtsLink International Fellowships 2021. The multi-year Fellowships are framed by the creative process, artistic intention, and an active commitment to community engagement and dialogue. The initial six-week residencies will take place in autumn 2021.
CEC ArtsLink individually curates each Fellowship, hosted by established US non-profit arts organisations across the country, and covers all associated living, working, travel, and health insurance costs. This year, the pandemic necessitated a new flexible model for the residencies with the fellows and host organisations collaborating through online dialogues, virtual networking, and research in preparation for projects that will take place when feasible. CEC ArtsLink remains committed to the residencies in 2021 with the understanding that the uncertainties of the pandemic might require new approaches to supporting fellows and host organisations.
Applicants do not need to have contacts with organisations in the US to apply for this programme, but proficiency in English is required.
ArtsLink International Fellowships programme offers up to three years of support through the initial residency, a follow up project in the US (separate proposal), and subsequently a project in the fellow’s home country (separate proposal).
Eligible countries: Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mongolia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Palestine, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
