New fund to strengthen links between Scottish artists and Europe
British Council Scotland and Creative Scotland are seeking proposals for bids to their £100k partnership fund to support individuals and organisations working in the Scottish arts sector tostrengthen relationships with counterparts in Europe.
The fund aims to build on existing connections between Scotland and Europe, which already see Scottish artists and organisations participating in major international platforms and festivals, such as Classical Next, the Venice Biennale and Cannes Film Festival.
With a focus on Europe, the partners aim to develop their shared vision of fostering international ambition in Scotland, engaging international audiences in Scotland’s dynamic arts sector, and enhancing their understanding of Scotland’s creative economy.
A total of £100k is available for projects taking place in 2019-2020. Funding can cover research visits, cultural exchanges, workshops, delegations, conferences or residencies.
