IETM Asian Satellite Meeting Melbourne
12 – 14 May 2014
May 10-11 Next Wave Festival & 15-16 Post-Satellite Sydney Visit

The IETM Asian Satellite meeting creates a rare opportunity for Asian and European artists/professionals to connect beyond their local practices and networks. In addition, the meeting will bring together the three key groups in the field of international exchange: the artists, the presenters/producers/intermediaries and the funders. Participants will be engaged in a dynamic exchange of expertise in collaboration in an international context, provided with practical information, tools and ideas on how to empower the contemporary arts sector, how to support emerging artists etc. The location of the meeting in Australia - culturally connected and active in both Asia and Europe - will encourage all participants to consider the diversity of contexts in which they work and to engage in the exchange of political, economic and cultural information.

On the Move is one of the partners for this event and will specifically focus on discussions and information sessions related to cultural mobility funding.
