2012 IILA Photography Prize
For the fifth consecutive year, the IILA - Italo-Latin American Institute and Zètema Progetto Cultura are organizing the IILA-FotoGrafia Prize, within the XI edition of FotoGrafia - International Festival of Rome (September 20 – November 10 2012), offering new Latin American talent the opportunity to participate in the festival alongside the discipline’s consecrated names.
A selection of the best works will be exhibited at Rome’s Contemporary Art Museum MACRO Testaccio. The overall winner will be chosen from among those who win admission to the exhibition, and will receive a stay of a month in Rome.
Participation in the prize is through a competition, whose theme this year is WORK. This theme has been an important topic in recent years and in the history of photography and will be reinterpreted with a great attention to differences and changes in the languages of photography and contemporary work.
Submit the project and documentation by e-mail to fotografia@iila.org before 30 June 2012.
