International Forum for Professional Choreographers and Composers

Artistic Direction James Sutherland and Co-ordinating Director Elsa Genova, in collaboration with Theater Reutlingen Die Tonne, Germany invite professional choreographers and composers to a creative collaboration, encouraging participants to go beyond their limits, to find new ways of expression. It assembles 4 choreographers and 4 composers chosen from applications Europe-wide to attend one week residential forum in October.

All applicants are required to demonstrate the potential to make a significant contribution to dance as a theater art and are reminded that, while choreographic craft is an important element in the course, its principal aim is to foster creative collaboration with composers. Applicants should supply a video with two or three examples of complete works (max. 20 min.)

Application on A4 paper should specify: name, address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail address, citizenship, category of application with a Curriculum Vitae including detailed information specifically relevant to the category of application with reasons for wanting to attend.
