International Dance Competition "Premio Roma Danza" - Rome, Italy

In 2012 comes back the Premio Roma Dance Competion, divided as in the past editions in the two categories Classical and Contemporary. The Choreographic Competition will be held again in 2013.

Premio Roma Danza is organized by the Italian National Dance Academy. The competition is under the patronage of the President of the Italian Republic and is supported by the Ministries of Instruction and Culture.

Competition is open to dancers from all nationalities, ages 14 to 18 for the juniors category, and ages 18 to 24 for the senior category; both in classical ballet and contemporary dance.

Beside the monetary prizes, the most talented participants will be awarded with other benefits, offered by competition’s partners (including scholarships for the best foreign dancer).

The Grand Theatre at the Italian National Dance Academy of Rome will host the dancers and the competition will close on 5th July with the winners gala.
