Young people invited to join 'virtual orchestra'
A group of professional musicians based in the USA is inviting young people to join their "virtual orchestra" that gathers classic music lovers from around the world. The virtual orchestra is an online collaborative project started by Little Symphony that involves young musicians from across the globe.
The process is simple and exciting - the musicians record themselves playing along with a metronome and upload the video on YouTube. They send the link to the organisers, who then include them in the master video, which has all of the musicians playing together.
The main goal of the project is to promote classical music amongst the young generation, while allowing musicians from all around the world to connect and interact.
