International Visegrad Fund - small grants (deadline: 1 Dec)
The International Visegrad Fund supports projects in the fields of cultural cooperation, scientific exchange and research, education, exchanges between young people, cross-border cooperation and promotion of tourism. It is open to projects thematically related to Visegrad cooperation (Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic & Slovakia).

Euro-Mediterranean
The Marc de Montalembert Foundation Grant (deadline 31 Jan 2008)
The Marc de Montalembert Foundation offers a scholarship to a person under the age of 30 from a Mediterranean country so as to help develop his understanding of the Region’s cultures. The scholarship is for 7,000 euros, and allows the candidate to achieve a discovery trip on a specific, predetermined topic. This trip will result in a written account, which may be published and distributed by March 31 of the following year at the latest. Special attention will be given to projects linked to Byzantium, the Medieval Period, or the contemporary Mediterranean world.

Mobility Matters - Programmes and Schemes to Support the Mobility of Artists and Cultural Professionals
The ERICarts Institute carried out a six month study for the European Commission between April and October 2008 on mobility incentives in the culture/creative sector. This was not intended to be an audit of all mobility related schemes in Europe, but rather a survey and analysis of the range and scope as well as motives and results of such programmes.
