TAI LANZA is the Artistic Residency programme of the University School of Arts TAI, Madrid, Spain. The residency can be from one week to three months, depending on the needs of the project, between May and July 2025.
The programme is open to artists of any discipline, background and origin, especially those interested in contemporary practices that promote hybridisation and interdisciplinary creation. They welcome projects (individual or collective) in advanced stages of development to help artists take the next step that will allow them to position themselves in the national and international arts circuit.
TAI supports all artistic areas (theatre, film, audiovisual, dance, music, photography, plastic and visual arts, fashion design, animation, etc.), as well as project proposals arising from interdisciplinary practices (multimedia installations, screen-dance, music and performance shows, and more).
The programme provides the following:
- Advice and mentoring
- Financial or logistical support for redesign and improvement in any of the project phases (sound editing; lighting, costume or set design; post-production; masterisation; graphic editing; printing of final copies; etc.)
- Financial support for food, travel and/or accommodation, if necessary.
- Provision of spaces: classrooms, rehearsal rooms for dance and performing arts, music studios, film sets, photography sets, multimedia classrooms, auditorium, etc.
- Provision of technical material: camera and lighting equipment, sound equipment, use of multimedia equipment, props, etc.
