British Council Indonesia > Arts Programme Officer
The British Council Indonesia is looking for an Arts Programme Officer who will be responsible for delivering administration and logistic support directly to the Arts team and leads on creative documentation of projects. The individual will work with the team, the Indonesian arts sector (taken to include theatre, dance, music, visual arts, design, literature, film and creative economy), colleagues in the UK and the British arts sector to effectively administer arts programmes and partnerships under the UK/Indonesia Season 2016-18 banner. That would include implementing projects on the ground for Network Building Programmes as well as Showcasing Programmes which would be highlighted in UK/Indonesia Festival every year. The individual will also need to do outreach to collectives and communities to participate in the programmes.
To be considered, you must have experience in office, project or event administration preferably within the arts and creative industries or international context with professional interest in the Indonesian arts sector. You need to have strong experience of project and financial implementation. You must be able to communicate effectively and appropriately to a wide range of audience, include senior figures. Proficiency in both English and Indonesia is essential.
