Establishment of a pool of experts for the European Capitals of Culture - Call for expressions of interest
The European Commission published an open call for expressions of interest to establish a pool of experts to be potential members of the Panel for the European Capital of Culture EU action. The call is open until 31/12/2020, however, experts who are interested in this call are invited to send their application as soon as possible.

Interns gain invaluable experience from working for an international network in the field of contemporary dance and performance that operates both in Europe, the Arab World and the Mediterranean since 1998. Available positions: 1 to 3 per year starting from June 2014 onwards.

On the Move and the Arab Education Forum launch the online "Guide to funding opportunities for the international mobility of artists and culture professionals: Focus on 13 Arab countries". This guide is supported by KAMS - Korea Arts Management Service, and was carried out in cooperation with the Jordanian Hashemite Fund For Human Development and the Queed Zein Al- Sharaf Institute for Development.

On April 1st, 2014 the European Commission released a new proposal on More flexible visa rules to boost growth and job creation, which includes proposals to shorten and simplify the current Schengen visa procedures and the creation of a new "touring visa", particularly interesting for live performing artists. The Icelandic Literature Center contributes to the promotion of Icelandic literature abroad. Authors, foreign publishers and organizers of literary events (festivals) can apply for support for Icelandic authors travelling abroad to promote their work. Application deadlines: 15 March, 15 June, 15 September and 15 November.
Established with gifts from IIE Trustees Robert L. Dilenschneider and Mark A. Angelson, the Janet Hennessey Dilenschneider Scholar Rescue Award in the Arts will provide life-saving fellowships to 10 threatened scholars in fields such as painting, dance, music, architecture, and the performing arts.
INTPA – International Net for Dance and Performance Austria supports Europe-based event organizers to cooperate with Austrian artists while being able to provide adequate incentives for Austrian artists to participate. Eligible applicants are based in Europe with the exception of Austria. Application must be submitted at least two months prior to the scheduled performance date.
Each year Light Work invites 12-15 artists to participate in its residency program, including one artist co-sponsored by Autograph ABP and one artist in conjunction with the Urban Video Project (UVP).
