The Prince Claus Fund, through its Cultural Emergency Response programme (CER), and the Whiting Foundation announce a new call for proposals for projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean to safeguard documentary heritage that is acutely threatened by recent conflict or other disaster, whether natural or man-made. Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis until 31 December 2017 at 17:00 Amsterdam time (CET). Applications received after this deadline cannot be considered.

Twice annually — respectively for the months of April and November — , the Bibliothek Andreas Züst offers three studio residency stipends. The length of the stay can vary from one to four weeks according to the needs of the stipendiaries. Vermont Studio Center’s Displaced Artists Fund exists to assist visual artists and writers displaced due to natural disasters, climate change, or political turmoil or threat by providing residencies in a safe and supportive community of creative peers. Applications on a rolling basis.
The Fund is designed with applications from UK organisations in mind, but any organisation is eligible to apply. STEP stands for ‘Supporting Travel for Engaged Partnerships’. The STEP travel grants funding programme has been initiated and managed by the European Cultural Foundation (ECF), with the support of Compagnia di San Paolo (CdSP). STEP travel grants support creative and critical individual cultural workers who are travelling across Europe and neighbouring countries, to help foster a society with greater solidarity, equality and a stronger sense of social justice.
