TURN – Fund for Artistic Cooperation between Germany and African Countries

In 2012, the Federal Cultural Foundation established the TURN – Fund for Artistic Cooperation between Germany and African Countries in order to encourage a wide range of German institutions to shift their focus on the artistic production and cultural debates in African countries.In order to respond to the continued interest in these joint projects, the Federal Cultural Foundation has extended the programme with additional funding until 2021 (originally scheduled to end in April 2020). 2017 Call for Nordic-Baltic Collaborative Arts Projects

The NordicBaltic Festival Platform (NBFP) is a platform created for festivals from all fields of art & culture in the Nordic-Baltic area. Application is open for all arts & culture festivals, but similarly the organisers encourage artists to reach out to their local/partner festivals to introduce together a collaboration proposal for festivals in the Nordic and Baltic countries as well as Poland and Russian Federation from the wider Baltic Sea Region (BSR). The eligible countries are: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Åland Islands, Greenland, Poland and the Russian Federation. Deadline: 31 July 2017.

Pina Bausch fellowship for dance and choreography

The scholarship holders are getting the chance to gain new experiences and are encouraged to develop their own artistic characteristics with new forms of expression. The Pina Bausch Fellowship is not a project fund, nor is it aimed at the development of new pieces. The Fellowship is promoted internationally. It has no age-restrictions and aims at single artists from the fields of dance and choreography (dancers and choreographers). Deadline: 15 September 2017.

Open call: First aid to documentary heritage under threat

The Prince Claus Fund, through its Cultural Emergency Response programme (CER), and the Whiting Foundation announce a new call for proposals for projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean to safeguard documentary heritage that is acutely threatened by recent conflict or other disaster, whether natural or man-made. Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis until 31 December 2017 at 17:00 Amsterdam time (CET). Applications received after this deadline cannot be considered.

Confidence Building 2017 – 2018 Call for Project Proposals

The length of the stay can vary from one to four weeks according to the needs of the stipendiaries.
