Call for applications Kai Residency, 2019-2020 (Estonia)

Kai Art Center’s core programme, the Kai Residency invites international visual artists, curators, writers and other contemporary art professionals to apply for its inaugural programme. The residency provides the opportunity for selected participants to live and work in Tallinn for between two and four weeks, while being immersed in the city’s dynamic art scene. Launching in October 2019, the Kai Residency will host up to 14 participants in its first year. 24th International Solo-Dance-Theatre Festival Stuttgart (Germany) > Open call

Choreographers may participate in the competition with a solo piece that is presented either as a premiere or hasn’t been performed on stage for the first time before March 2019. The duration of the performance has to be between 9 and 12 minutes. The choreographies should be developed along the lines of a contemporary and genuine movement-language. The applicant is free in choice of subject and music. The piece may be interpreted by the choreographer him/herself. The dancer must be 30 or younger. Deadline: 11 November 2019.
