The Talent Leadership Programme (TLP) is a Creative Europe-funded training programme, created by Keychange—a global movement supporting underrepresented talents and leading collective actions to create a better, more inclusive music industry for present and future generations.

The six-month training is for women and gender-diverse individuals ready to lead change in the music industry. The programme equips future leaders with the tools to drive diversity, inclusion, equity and accessibility (DIEA). Through workshops, mentoring, and hands-on projects, participants gain practical skills, fresh insights, and the confidence to inspire change locally and globally.

The programme begins at Tallinn Music Week (Estonia) 3–4 April 2025 and wraps up at the Reeperbahn Festival (Germany) 17–20 September 2025. Successful applicants will be required to commit to the below:

  • Mandatory attendance at the two in-person events
  • 24 sessions, 2 hours per week, between April 2025 and September 2025, with every fourth week being ‘free from activities’.
  • An estimated average time of 4 hours of work a week (live sessions + independent work).

Applicants need to be based in one of the Creative Europe countries, the UK or Canada and have a minimum five years’ experience in the music industries and over one year of experience in the field of DEIA (Diversity Equity Inclusivity and Accessibility).

Each participant will get a baseline travel bursary. The programme also allocates extra funds to participants based in Canada (to cover extra travel costs), participants with childcare needs and participants with accessibility needs.
