Manorama Young Printmaker Award invites application from Indian artists under the age of 35 years residing anywhere in the world. The winner of IPMH will receive financial support of INR 50,000 and a four-week fully funded residency (including travel and accommodation) in the print studio at Artbuzz Studio, Delhi to develop a new body of work. The residency will take place between the months of Jan – August 2021 (unless otherwise negotiated).
The winning artist will be expected to engage regularly with the community of resident artists and IPMH patrons in the print shop area at the Artbuzz Studio throughout the artist’s residency. One print, produced during the residency will be retained by IPMH for its archive. One (or more) prints(s) will be donated to Artbuzz Studio.
Two runners-up will also receive certificates and gifts worth INR 12,000 sponsored by Ravi Engineering Works, and have the opportunity to display their works at the Artbuzz Studio, as well as take a master class and give an artist presentation. 22 shortlisted artist works will be showcased on IMPH’s online gallery/shop.
