The European Cultural Foundation (ECF) is looking for a Communications Coordinator for their Amsterdam office, to begin between 15 March and 1 April 2024.
ECF’s work covers programmes, grant-making, events, advocacy, research and development. To create awareness of their work, they are looking for a creative and engaged Communications Coordinator who will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders and report to the head of communications. The successful candidate will be part of a small, agile team, focusing on executing and furthering the development of the day-to-day and longer-term online strategy.
What will the Communications Coordinator be doing?
- Build and execute communications strategy for programmes and activities
- Support content creation (copywriting, visual, audio, video) for ECF channels
- Coordinate the development of communication materials and publications
- Come up with innovative ways to tell (grantee) stories
- Contribute to community engagement among our grantees, partners and stakeholders
- Ensure adequate digital and physical storage of communications material
- Oversee and maintain the image collection from all ECF events/grants
- Manage and further develop our CRM database
- Work collaboratively with communications, programmes, and advocacy teams
- Co-organise events like Europe Day
The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role and they need to be based in the Netherlands with a valid work permit.
The position is a contract for 4–5 days per week for one year, with a view to extending. The salary ranges from 3,009.77 EUR to 4,358.53 EUR gross per month (on a full-time basis) with a 13th month and benefits package.
