Bora Bora Residency Centre in Aarhus, Denmark, is calling for applications from national and international dance artists for their 24/25 season.
Bora Bora Residency Centre is an international residency centre, based in Aarhus, with a focus on artistic and economically sustainable conditions for the development of the artistic practice and works, for professional artists mostly within the field of contemporary dance. The residency programme is supported by Statens Kunstfond, Augustinus Fonden, Region Midtjylland and Nordisk Kulturfond.
This call is open to professional projects within the field of dance and choreography. The residencies are dedicated to artists to either immerse themselves in their artistic practice and/or the development of a new or existing project.
The applicant must have signed at least two productions prior to the project applied with. The residencies are not awarded to a single person, but solo work can be admitted if rooted in a group process.

It is necessary to be available at least 10 weeks, in timespans of minimum two weeks. These 10 weeks must be in the period between 1 August 2024 to 30 June 2025, with a duration of 2–4 weeks per residency.
Bora Bora Residency Centre offers fees for artists, paid transportation and accommodation.
