Are you a movement artist, performer, creative technologist, filmmaker or photographer interested in incorporating Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning technologies into your practice? Are you curious about how AI and performing arts can come together to amplify the call to climate action? If yes, the BeFantastic Within Fellowship programme may be for you.
As part of the BeFantastic Within Fellowship program you will be offered:
- Facetime with Experts in the Field: You will have the opportunity to attend workshops offered by 5 mentors representing cutting edge practice from India, UK and Germany. You will also have access to established leaders in their fields through the BeFantastic Dialog Series.
- Collaborate with a Creative Network: You will be part of an invaluable network of up to 25 international professionals from the above mentioned countries with an invitation to collaborate and propose interdisciplinary project ideas.
- Knowledge Sharing (Performance Art, Creative Technologies and Climate Change): You will have access to lectures, workshops, peer discussions and resource packs dealing with the intricacies of performing arts, the depths and breadth of AI and Art, and the nuances of climate change.
- An opportunity to pitch for a production grant: While BeFantastic are unable to offer participants a fee to attend a 3 week primer session (16 May – 3 June 2022) for networking and knowledge sharing, you will have the opportunity to bid for a project idea with international collaborators in response to the curatorial brief. 3 Selected proposals will receive:
- Close mentorship representing cutting edge practices from various geographies.
- Funding to develop an AI enabled performance art piece to be showcased at the FutureFantastic Festival that will take place in Bengaluru in March 2023.

- Movement Artists, Performers, Choreographers, Creative Directors based in India.
- Creative Technologists from India, UK or Germany.
