Come and See / Go and See A Staff-Exchange project between Brittany (France) and Europe

En français, consultez ce lien.

Eleven city theatres and festivals from the Brittany region (France) have come together with the wish to meet with the diversity of professional realities in the field of culture on a European scale.
Single or multidisciplinary scenes, these cultural actors share the values of artistic dissemination focused on contemporary creation, and a particular attention towards awareness and training of different audiences.

Come and see / Go and see is imagined as a two-way staff-exchange between Brittany and European based cultural actors.

The duration of the stay is to be determined together, according to a jointly established schedule.  Each participant would be responsible for its own travel costs.

The stay (accommodation, meals, local travel) would be at the expense of the host in Brittany and in Europe.

This project is based on two wishes:
Make Europe and build cultural projects that nurture a sense of belonging to Europe.
• In a context of change, and in particular when it comes to the economic models of culture, there is a need to question professional practices in order to be open towards multiple approaches and know-hows specific to the cultural sector: cultural rights, outreach and audience engagement, support for creation, civic issues at stake in the act of programming

In Brittany, participants of “Come and See / Go and see”:

Le Strapontin (Pont-Scorff) - Le Trio…s (Inzinzac-Lochrist) - Plages Magnétiques (Brest) –
