AAMC Foundation Engagement Program for International Curators (USA)
The AAMC Foundation Engagement Program for International Curators is a 12-month programme currently accepting applications from non-US based curators (International Awardees) and US-based curators (US Liaisons) working on or having worked within exhibitions and projects that explore historical art of the United States (c. 1500-1980).
Each International Awardee is paired with a US Liaison for a year-long partnership dedicated to professional development and exchange. Two pairings are awarded each year.
The Program includes travel funding for Awardees, a participant stipend for US Liaisons, networking, and other benefits.
For the International Curators this includes:
A $2,750 travel stipend for a meeting beween the US Liaison & International Awardee (not expected to last more than 5 business days).
Travel Funding and complimentary registration to attend AAMC & AAMC Foundation’s Annual Conference & Meeting, May 2-6, 2020 in Seattle, WA. The Awardee receives a $2,500 stipend for this trip.
For US Liasons this includes:
Complimentary AAMC Membership for 1 year.
A stipend of $500 for the commitment to and participation in the programme.
