CreArt Open Calls for artists and curators in Genoa (Italy) and Kaunas (Lithuania)
CreArt has launched two calls for artists and emerging curators of the network: a one-month residency program for 4 artists in Kaunas, and a 3-day seminar for a maximum of 25 curators from the CreArt cities in Genoa.
The Italian city organizes between 21 and 23 March at the Palazzo Ducale, the seminar "Between public and private. Good practices of curatorship "coordinated by the curator and Professor in History of Art, Alessandra Gagliano Candela, who will select a maximum of 25 participants.
The seminar will reflect on the relationship between museums and contemporary art, curating initiatives, linking the public and private, the role played by foundations, fairs and galleries
Deadline: 15 February 2019
Artkomas and the city of Kaunas (Lithuania), invite 4 visual artists born or resident in the cities of the network to participate in a one-month AiR program, between April 23 and May 23. The organization covers travel, accommodation, study and a grant for production expenses. At the end of the residence there will be an exhibition with the final works in the gallery "Ars et Mundus" of Kaunas.
