GIMARA artist residency programme (Finland) > Open call for Gypsy or Roma artists living in the Nordic or Baltic countries
The Gimara programme supports Gypsy or Roma artists living in the Nordic or Baltic countries with stays of different length. The call is open for all artistic disciplines. The programme is funded by Nordic Culture Point.
Eligibility: Roma or Gypsy artists living in the Nordic or Baltic countries who address
intercultural interaction within their work.
The OSKAR centre offers artists:
- working space
- mentoring and training
- An €800 scholarship
- residency support staff
In addition, the centre covers the foreign travel costs of the artists.
The selected artists are required to:
- make a contribution to the activities of the centre (artists may suggest the form that best suits them in the application, it can be a workshop, lecture, masterclass or something else)
