Songkhla Heritage Trust and OXLAEY > Open call for a residency programme (Thailand)
The Songkhla Heritage Trust and OXLAEY have developped a new artist residency programme. Artists of any discipline are invited to apply. The residency will begin in December 2018 for a length of between 4 and 8 weeks.
The artist will be provided a free, private room with air-conditioning, a free studio / working space, a free exhibition space, and a food per diem of 360 Baht per day. Artists also receive a 5000 Baht stipend (one time) which can be used towards travel, for incidentals, or art materials.
While in Songkhla, the artist is encouraged to perform or share his/her art at a local school, discuss his/her work with the community during a small “Breakfast Talks”, and share or perform during the Songkhla Arts Festival (11 – 13 January 2019).
