FAR Bundanon-Australia 2018 - residency opportunity in Australia for a French artist
The French Artist in Residence - FAR Bundanon-Australia program was initiated in 2015 by the Embassy of France in Australia and Bundanon Trust. The aim is to build longer term relationships between Bundanon Trust and French cultural institutions as well as between Australian and French artists.
Bundanon was the home of Arthur Boyd, one of Australia's most significant 20th century artists. His work has shaped Australia's cultural identity and Australians' sense of landscape. Bundanon is his gift to the Australian people. His vision for Bundanon was that it be an inspirational haven for artists to pursue their practice.
Bundanon is 170 kilometres south of Sydney on the Australian south-east coast. Explore our website to find out more about us.
The French Artist in Residence - FAR Bundanon-Australia will take place from 9 November 2018 to 21 December 2018.
