CIRCollaborative Tools Open Call - Artistic director (to lead 2 labs) application module

CIRCollaborative Tools is an European project that brings together 9 partners from the contemporary circus field and the digital field in 2017-2019: La Grainerie (France), La Central del Circ (Spain), Cirqueon (Czech Republic), Festival Circolo (Netherlands), Ideagorà (Italy), Espace Catastrophe (Belgium), The Arts Printing House (Lithuania), Ekito (France), the Hungarian Juggling Association-MZE (Hungary).

The project aims to develop collaborative work and the use of digital tools in our professional practices and in the artistic field through action-training workshop sessions and full-scale experiments.
CIRCollaborative Tools is funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.

This call aims to find an artistic director interested in digital tools and to follow the project. He/She will be responsible for directing each Lab, which will run for 5 days with 20 to 22 artists from various countries, all involved in an artistic creation process. Artists are not selected as representatives of a company but as individuals. Artist will be selected by the artistic director who will be in charge of creating an artistic reflection about the creation process and the relationship with digital tools applied in order to facilitate the evolution and set up of the artistic projects.

The artistic director will be responsible for:
selecting artists : preparing the open call in Fossano and select the groups of young artists among the applications
leading 2 artistic research Labs
implementing digital tools experiment: in Fossano and in the Labs
experimenting the potentials of different digital tools directly on the artistic field and/or the preparation of the Labs.
