British Council > Grants Manager Cultural Protection (location negotiable)
The Cultural Protection Fund sits under Culture and Development within the British Council’s Arts Department. It is a £30 million initiative with the aim of creating sustainable opportunities for economic and social development through building capacity to foster, safeguard and promote cultural heritage affected by conflict overseas. Launched in June of 2016, the Fund is a partnership between the UK government’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and the British Council.
The British Council has an excellent opportunity for a Grants Manager to support the work of the Cultural Protection Fund by responding to expressions of interest, assessing grant applications and monitoring live projects taking place in and around the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Deadline: 16 August 2017
