Call for 2018 eeemerging ensembles

eeemerging is a European project promoting the emergence of young early music ensembles.

With the support of the Creative Europe programme, 8 partners from all over Europe, along with 37 first rank partners in the field of early music, join forces for an original and innovative project at the service of musicians and audiences.

eeemerging aims at supporting young ensembles in the field of early music (from the Middle Ages to Romanticism) by providing a 3-year selective scheme through:

  1. time and space to rehearse during residencies in europe, including accommodation

  2. specific training sessions

  3. professional practice, including concerts and audience development activities

  4. support for the structuring of the ensemble and booking

  5. promotion (recordings, videos, photos, website, digital...

Eligible ensembles are less than three years old, formed of between 2 and 14 musicians, all adults and with an average age of 32 or less.
