Residencies at the Maisons Daura - France: Call for artists

The Maisons Daura are an international laboratory for creation in all disciplines. In the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in France (Saint-Cirq-Lapopie), in an exceptional medieval architectural building, artists coming from all over the world, find a place of life and research, during two periods of residences every year.

Residencies are open to artists of all ages and from every field of art. They may be from France or from other countries, and must have had either advanced training or a commensurate professional experience in art.

Each artist receives a fixed allowance for all cost not directly covered by the organiser (in particular the meals). This allocaton is of 3,000€ for the Spring residencies (3 monts) and 1,500€ for the shorter Autumn residencies (6 weeks). Return tickets to Saint-Cirq-Lapopie are covered (maximum of 200 €). Other costs such as production and communication are covered.

All applications must be received before August 15 every year, by post. All applications must be printed on paper and in .pdf version burned on a CD/DVD. Applications sent by email will not be accepted.
