Festival Dimanche Rouge in Tallin, Estonia - call for artists
Dimanche Rouge will hold a special edition in Tallinn, Estonia on October 20th & 21st, 2012.
The organisation is currently considering proposals for experimental art performances in all formats including but not limited to multimedia, dance, performance art, video, sound, actions, body art, interventions, street art, spoken word and installations.
Events will take place at Kumu Art Museum and Culture Factory Polymer. The most representative Estonian exhibition place Kumu Art Museum is one of the biggest museums in the Baltics, exposing Estonian and international contemporary art. The former toy factory Culture Factory Polymer, became in 2003 one of the main strong points for alternative un-institutionalized culture in Tallinn.
Dimanche Rouge Estonia is endorsed by institutions and partners including Ile de France, the French Institute in Estonia, the Estonian Ministry of Culture, the Estonian Embassy in Paris, Culture Factory Polymer, and Kumu Art Museum.
Through its partner Culture Factory Polymer, the festival will be able to provide free accommodation for the participating artists.
Please note that Dimanche Rouge works without a budget, therefore it will not be able to provide any funding. It may be able to help you find funding and are currently working on sponsorships and partnerships.
