Roberto Cimetta Fund - Open call for travel grants - Extended deadline

The third 2012 open call for travel grants of the Roberto Cimetta Fund is currently open until 15th July 2012. This call concerns two separate mobility funds: the RCF/Marseille-Provence 2013 Fund and the RCF/Conseil Général des Bouches du Rhône Fund.

 The European capital of Culture year Marseille-Provence 2013 is fast approaching and the programming of the events in 2013 has already been confirmed. For this reason, the eligibility criteria to the RCF/Marseille-Provence 2013 Fund has become more specific to adapt to this new context. Individual mobility applications that concern travel taking place within a project produced or co-produced by Marseille-Provence 2013 are no longer eligible unless the request allows to develop an additional part of the project in the South. Individual mobility applications in the framework of projects that are labelled MP2013 or that are not within the official programme of MP2013 are eligible. The initial specific criteria of this fund still applies: i.e. open to artists and cultural operators from the Euro-Arab and Mediterranean regions whose travel project will take place from a country of the South and East coasts of the Mediterranean to another country of that same zone or from a country of the South and East coasts of the Mediterranean to Europe, preferably other than France. Only in exceptional cases will mobility from a European country to a country of the South or East coasts be considered; the same applies for mobility linked to countries of the Arabian Gulf. The aim of the trip needs to be linked to the Marseille Provence 2013 project and/or the area of Marseille Provence 2013 (which extends from Arles to La Ciotat through the Pays d’Aix).

The Conseil Général Bouches du Rhône provides funding on a specific funding line. Details concerning all the funds and all the eligibility criteria, as well as the contact form can be found on the Cimetta Fund website.  The results are announced as follows:

  • Third session: 1st September 2012 (Deadline for receiving applications: 15/07/2012)
  • Fourth session: 1st December 2012 (Deadline for receiving applications: 30/09/2012)
