Elements of action. Workshop for actors & dancers - Sweden, May 2012

How does movement gain life and the voice its release? Elements of Action is an advanced workshop exploring the inner aspects of action. 

The workshop will take place in Goteborg - Sweden on 14-18 May.

During the workshop the performers will devise physical and vocal materials through use of external stimuli,  and create sequences of action. These sequences (scores) will be the basis for improvisational work aimed to explore and discover the very personal and inner aspect  of the Action (subscore). 

The workshop is facilitated by Vahid, artistic director of Goosun Art-­‐illery (DK/UK) and is based on methods developed in the international research project HamletZar ‐ a project that over the course of several years have gathered a wide range of artists from different places and practices, to explore the craftsmanship of performing arts and its socio-­‐ethical relevance.
