European Musical Creation Workshop 2012 - call for participants

The Centro Imaginario de Estudios Artísticos is pleased to announce the third call for participants for the EMCW 2012 - European Musical Creation Workshop.

The workshop will be held on February 10th and 11th, April 13th and 14th, June 15th and 16th, and September 28th and 29th at our collaborating venues in Madrid, and on November 10th in Cullera (Valencia).

In this occasion Austria is being our guest country and we are proud of announcing the presence of Bernhard Lang and Uli Fussenegger as Guest Professors.

Active students will have personal tutoring with our Resident Professors: Alberto Posadas , Aureliano Cattaneo and Alberto Bernal.

We also count on our resident ensemble Espai Sonor directed by Voro García for a rehearsal of the students scores and the premiere of at least one of them in the Mostra Sonora de Sueca 2013.

In this occasion and as a new feature we announce the ‘ I Young composers Symposium’. Young composers from any origin are recruited to present their work in open meetings organized with the purpose of helping to the diffusion of newest artists and to make exchanges easier.

Deadline for inscriptions is February the 1st of 2012.

Composers coming from out of Spain are also gladly invited to participate. We will do our best helping to find comfortable but cheap accommodation in Madrid.
