Register for the Ulm Danube School for Art Management, 24 June to 8 July 2012, Ulm, Germany (Deadline: 29 February 2012)

From June 24 to July 8, 2012, the Cultural Department of the City of Ulm, Germany, organizes for the first time the Ulm Danube School of Art Management, in cooperation with the Donaubüro Ulm and the Robert Bosch Foundation. The School for Arts Management addresses young arts managers from Danube countries.

The two-weeks School for Arts Management aims at helping you develop special cultural projects and at giving the basics of cultural marketing, funding and European arts management. The School is led by Prof. Dr. Armin Klein (Ludwigsburg) and Dr. Patrick S. Föhl (Berlin). More about the directors, tutors and organisators of the project here.

What they offer

  • A two-week course in English, under the guidance of experienced lecturers and tutors on the topics of project management, cultural marketing, basics of funding and European arts management
  • Accommodation and meals in Ulm
  • Contact and exchange with many cultural institutions in Ulm and about 20 colleagues from other Danube countries
  • A travel allowance of maximum 150 € on submission of the receipts of 2nd class bus or train journey


Conditions to apply

  • Applicants must be from Danube countries (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine).
  • English language proficiency
  • A participation fee of 100 €

Closing date for applications is the 29th February 2012. Participants  will be selected in advance by a jury.
