On the Move’s new board and team in 2012
As of January 2012, OTM will have a new team composed of a Secretary General, Marie Le Sourd, and a Communication and Advocacy Officer, Elena Di Federico, based in On the move’s Brussels’ office.
Marie Le Sourd has an extensive experience in artistic and cultural cooperation from her work in Asia for the past 5 years notably with the French Cultural Centre in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and with the Cultural Exchange Department of the Asia-Europe Foundation based in Singapore.
Elena Di Federico has worked as a project manager and researcher for the Fitzcarraldo Foundation (Italy) on international projects related to intercultural dialogue, cultural marketing and artists’ mobility in Europe and the Mediterranean, such as the Practics pilot project.
The Board and members would like to thank the current staff, Cristina Farinha and Tara Schneider Appriou, both leaving at the end of December 2011. Their work has been essential to enable the organisation to maintain its targets and accomplish its work plan, notably contributing to establish OTM as an information gateway and network for mobility resources. OTM wishes Cristina and Tara all the best for their future!
Changes will concern also the OTM Board: Richard Polacek and Martina Marti will step down from their respective roles as Delegate General and President of On the Move end of December 2011. Richard’s and Martina’s dedication has allowed OTM to develop a 3-year strategic plan and to become a key player in the EU scenario. They have both taken a leading role to advocate for improved access to cultural mobility information with panache, charisma and style! OTM Board members are grateful for their commitment.
The new board is composed by Anaïs Lukacs (BAAPE), Angie Cotte (Roberto Cimetta Fund), Anna Galas (Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute), Luigi Gageos (jmEvents) and Maria Tuerlings (Trans Artists). The Board will communicate the new alignment in the weeks to come.
