ASEF culture360 supports the publication of E-connector, a new series of online resources on the culture and creative industries, digitalisation of arts and humanities and cultural mobility in Asia and Europe. This project was commissioned by ASEF culture360 and researched by On the Move with the contribution of the Luxembourg Agency for Cultural Affairs and Planting Rice. This new IETM publication - coordinated by On the Move - provides a detailed and easy-to-read overview of public and private funding opportunities for the arts and culture in Europe and beyond: it provides a comprehensive list of funding programmes at national, regional and local level and describes in a simple and clear language how artistic and cultural projects can fit with the objectives of several EU funding programmes other than Creative Europe.

On the Move's Members, Supporters and Partners (Aug. 2014- June 2015)

Because of the rejection of the European Commission to fund On the Move (OTM) for the three years to come, OTM had to fully re-think its strategy of development. EENC Report - Artists’ mobility and Administrative Practices related to Social Security and Taxation in the European Union (EU)

The report maps the obstacles, in the fields of social security and taxation, which artists and cultural professionals face when they are mobile or seek to be mobile in the EU. It also introduces a typology of identified obstacles, includes an analysis of the impact of recent legislative and regulatory developments and presents a set of good administrative practices. Resources (documents, info-points etc.) are listed pages 59-65.

Seminar on Artists' mobility, social security and taxation in the EU (19-20 June) - press release

On the Move participated on 19-20 June in Brussels in the two-day seminar on Artists' mobility, social security and taxation in the EU convened by the European commission - DG Education and Culture. OTM was commissioned, via the EENC network, to prepare an analytical report on the issue, which served as the background document of the event and was completed with the experts inputs from Pearle*.

Training and Information sessions for and with OTM member organisations and Asian delegates in Luxemburg

Following the successful experience of 2012, the Agence Luxembourgeoise d' Action Culturelle welcomed again On the Move and its members for a training on communication strategies and the use of social media for cultural mobility, held in Luxemburg on 17 June 2014. The training, attended by with OTM members and selected Asian organisations, was followed by two days of interactions and meetings on cultural mobility with the Luxemburgish cultural sector (18-19 June). The report and the follow-up notes are now available!
