Brainstorming meeting: Sustainability strategies of EU funded projects related to cultural entrepreneurship / new models of production
On the Move, part of the Creative Tracks' project, organised on 16 June 2017 in Paris, a Brainstorming meeting on Sustainability strategies of EU funded projects related to cultural entrepreneurship / new models of production. This meeting aimed in particular on helping to develop strategies to sustain the online platform of Creative Tracks beyond the time of the EU funding (31 December 2017). 8 Projects' coordinators of EU funded projects and special guests participated in this dynamic day.
A 2017 edition in partnership with On the Move's member, ARS BALTICA. You can check the 11 countries covered in the BSR guide: Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Iceland, Germany, Poland and the Russian Federation. With the support of On the Move's members (ITI and its website, touring-artists.info and the Russian Theatre Union) and with the contribution of National Centre for Culture-Poland and EUNIA.
Producers’ Academy, International entrepreneurship models and strategies in the performing arts’ sector - 10-13 May 2017 (Brussels, Belgium)
The Producers’ Academy focused on International entrepreneurship models and strategies in the performing arts’ sector, gathered in Brussels on 10-13 May 2017, 22 international producers and cultural entrepreneurs as well as 7 experts. The Producers' Academy, a project by CIFAS, On the Move, MoDul and Kunstenfestivaldesarts, was organised within the scope of Creative Tracks, with the support of the European Union, Wallonie Bruxelles International, Shenzhen Design Week and the Asia-Europe Foundation. After Warsaw, On the Move was in Cardiff, Wales for its General Assembly and related meetings, hosted by Wales Arts International on 5-6 April 2017. Represented On the Move's members were: Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute (Poland); Arts and Theatre Institute (Czech Republic), DutchCulture / TransArtists, Fresh Arts Coalition Europe-FACE, IETM, Trans Europe Halles, RES ARTIS, Circostrada, MobiCulture (France), Russian Theatre Federation, IG Kultur Austria, JMEvents, ITI Germany, IGBK, Teaterunionen - Swedish ITI, Wales Arts International and Marta Gracia (individual).

BECC Toolkit by the European Network of Cultural Centres intends to support the mobility of cultural leaders and guide their learning experience. On the Move contributed to the section: Why going international? Where to find a mobility for me?
On the Move secretariat will benefit, till March 2017, from a static staff exchange with staff from its member-organisations (eg. Art Motile, DutchCulture / TransArtists and Trans Europe Halles - Rojc Alliance). A static staff exchange may sound curious for a network like On the Move dealing with artists and cultural professionals' mobility! However our office being mobile, this is the easiest way we found to have our members - through dedicated and engaged staff- contribute to On the Move's website contents, analysis of data and/or evaluation. On the Move's general assembly was held on 19 May in Warsaw following the invitation of its member, the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute. On the Move representatives took also part in special networking meetings, a discussion with Eastern Partnership countries' special guests and in a training on digital innovation and communication.
Creative Tracks is a European project designed to connect existing networks of young entrepreneurs active in the cultural and creative sectors across the world.On the Move is part of this EU funded project (Creative Europe) together with Inova+, KEA, Addict, the Roberto Cimetta Fund and Librios.
This E-connector - supported by ASEF Culture360 in partnership with the Luxemburgish Agency for Cultural Affairs and Planting Rice - comes in the form of a glossary which will help to tackle some key issues related to the mobility of artists and cultural professionals between Asia and Europe, be it for touring, residency, collaborations, training, meeting participation, exploration visit for a project, job shadowing experience and more.
My Performing Arts Agency (MyPAA) activated ARTERI on 1 April 2016, an online strategic platform to serve as a one-stop information portal for the Malaysian arts communities. On the Move is one of the organisations which contributed to ARTERI's contents on cultural mobility issues.
