Residency opportunities 2014 in France by Association Voyons Voir
The structure voyons voir | art contemporain et territoire develops a network of artists in residence and creations of visual artworks in Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur area (France). Voyons voir has opened a call for artists in residence between Nov. 2013 and April 2014. The residence takes place during 4/5 weeks, consecutively or not and includes production grants, residency allowance and flat-rate reimbursement of travel costs. Deadline: 15 March.

MAM – Maroc Artist Meeting
MAM – Maroc Artist Meeting is a meeting of artists living in Morocco and Germany, who want to deal with their living environments and their place in performing arts in a critical way. Ten selected artists from each country will work, experiment, live, discuss and network in the fields of dance / movement and music for a period of two weeks. During the third week a smaller group will travel in the countryside and work with local habitants. Applications accepted until 17 February.

Tmesis Theatre - 2 day physical theatre workshop - 9/10th March - Liverpool (UK)
Tmesis Theatre’s Artistic Director, Elinor Randle will lead a two-day workshop in Tmesis’s unique style of physical theatre, focusing on freeing the expressive body, animal instincts, body control, partner work and improvisation. The company are well know for their physical training and encouraging participants to push through their barriers. Early bird registration fee if applying before 18 February.

Iver Jåks Artist-In-Residency Program (Norway)
Named after the late Sami artist Iver Jåks, this international artist-in-residence program offers a two months residency in Karasjok, Norway. The residency includes accommodation, access to an artist studio, a stipend for living expenses and production costs, and travel costs covered to and fro. Deadline: 10 March.

Collaboration Grants are awarded to cultural organisations and organisations outside the cultural sector that are working together on artistic and cultural projects across different countries of wider Europe. Arts - cultural organisation and access to finance: survey online
In various studies, access to finance has been pointed out as a core barrier to growth for many cultural and creative companies. The European Commission wants to take action to tackle this problem. However, insufficient data on the sector’s actual financing needs currently hinder effective policy making.
